Fondesurco - Arequipa, Peru
Fondesurco is a microfinance institute that works with clients in the rural regions of Arequipa, Moquegua and Ayacucho in Peru. They have a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and conservation. They offer green loans to rural communities living below the Peruvian national poverty line standard.
We'll run a social performance audit for Fondesurco and propose an action plan in order to put their activities in line with their social and environmental commitment.
PowerMundo - Lima, Peru
PowerMundo is a social enterprise enabling people to improve their lives and conserve nature.
Over a billion people worldwide (31 million in Latin America) lack access to electricity. PowerMundo improves access to solar and other clean technologies to empower people in emerging markets.
We' will help them build partnerships with microfinance insitutes in South America and conduct fieldwork.
FACES - Loja, Ecuador
La Fundación de Apoyo Comunitario y Social del Ecuador, FACES is an NGO that has been commited to social and economic development in the South region of the country since 1991. Among others, they finance micro entrepreneurs’ projects and activities with microcredits. They want to promote access to renewable energy.
We will help them develop “green loans”, designed to finance people interested in buying cleantech products.
